I first got into photography after my dad let me borrow his old Canon DSLR. I used it for my first portrait session and after that, I was hooked, and began my journey as CEO of Photography By Chantelle, Inc.

I have always been the creative type and have dabbled in all kinds of artsy things like painting, or drawing. But the reason why I love photography so much is because I can save the moment or memory and treasure it forever. I may grow old and forgetful, but at least I would have pictures of me and my loved ones to look back on.

My family currently consists of myself, my husband, and our dogs; but we wouldn’t be opposed to adding more four legged babies to our lives in the future. When I’m not behind the camera, I’m usually studying, as I’m currently going to school. But my other interests include going to the beach or hiking. I also love trying new restaurants and seeing new movies with my husband.

Each one of us has their own life and interests and I’m making that my goal to preserve your story. Whether it’s capturing the perfect portrait, the chemistry between a couple, or the small intimate moments at weddings; I love being able to capture memories for people to look at for years to come.
